Clinical Trials News

A daily, plain-language digest of new oncology and life-sciences clinical trials, with a weekly deep-dive roundup — every update linked to its trial registry or primary source.

How to interpret an oncology trial update

Start with the population: cancer type, stage, biomarker, prior therapy and eligibility criteria determine what a result can establish. Then inspect the phase, randomisation, comparator, endpoint definition, follow-up and safety population. A response rate from a single-arm early study answers a different question from progression-free or overall survival in a randomised trial.

Registry status is not proof of efficacy, a conference abstract may change before peer review, and an FDA approval applies only within its labelled indication. GeneAnalyses links trial biology to gene and pathway guides so readers can understand why a therapy was tested while keeping clinical conclusions inside the source boundaries.
