What to send when reporting a possible scientific or factual problem on GeneAnalyses.

Last updated 2 September 2026

What to include

  1. The full GeneAnalyses page address.
  2. The exact sentence, table row or figure label in question.
  3. Why it may be wrong, overstated or missing important context.
  4. A direct source such as a primary paper, registry record, regulatory document, UniProt, NCBI or RCSB PDB entry.

Public contact channel

Send the report through the GeneAnalyses newsletter publication. A dedicated corrections email will replace this route when the site owner chooses an address that can be published safely.

What happens next

Reports are checked against the most direct available evidence. Material corrections update the affected page and are recorded in the public correction log. Submitting a report does not create a clinical consultation or guarantee an individual response.
