How GeneAnalyses evaluates and records factual corrections.

What we correct
We correct factual errors, unsupported certainty, misplaced cancer-type or treatment-setting claims, broken or mismatched references, and language that could cause a reader to interpret educational content as personal medical advice.
How corrections are handled
Potential issues are checked against the most direct available evidence. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made silently. Material corrections should update the page date and be summarised below with the affected page, the original problem, and the correction.

30 August 2026 — site-wide evidence and wording review
Clarified the cancer type and response-rate context for adagrasib plus cetuximab; corrected progression-free-survival wording for capivasertib; narrowed overgeneralised anti-EGFR and inherited-risk statements; and added explicit AI-assistance and clinical-review disclosures.
Reporting an issue
A dedicated public corrections inbox is not yet published. Until one is added, readers should include the page address, disputed sentence, and supporting primary source when contacting the site owner through an existing published channel. This page will be updated when a dedicated address is available.
